OATH helps unite adoptive families with their children from around the world. With your prayer, encouragement, and financial support we are able to meet the needs of qualifying families so they can focus on what’s most important – bringing home their children. God calls us to go to orphans in their distress. Together, we can change the lives of vulnerable children. We appreciate your commitment and support to our organization.

OATH has given over $43,000 to help 153 families bring their children home from 23 different countries.

Meet Joseph and Medea

Joseph + Medea Abrego

We are thrilled to be entrusted as the new directors for OATH, an organization founded by our friends over 15 years ago. As two-time recipients of OATH grants ourselves - first with our son from Korea in 2012, then our daughter from India in 2014 - we are especially honored. God has led us through two completely different international adoptions, foster respite-care, older-child sponsorship, and even the devastation of an adoption dissolution. As a military family of 10 years, we've had unique experiences and have felt alone at times- we never want our OATH families to feel this way so we want you to know we are here for you. Our hearts are for every child to know the love of a family; to be tucked in at night, knowing they are loved. We are grateful to walk alongside you, no matter where you are on your adoption journey.

Meet Brady and Hilary

We are honored to be able to be a part of Oath! We have four children-Addy, Sam, Katie, and Nate. Brady and I always felt a call to adoption. In 2012, we began adopting a little boy from Russia. We traveled to meet him and fell in love! Unfortunately, due to the adoption ban that Russia placed on Americans adopting, we were not able to bring our little boy home. We are passionate about adoption! We are so honored that we feel that God has called us to help other adoptive families on their journey and to be a part of Oath. We know first hand, what a blessing organizations like Oath can be to families in the process. We are always praying for Oath families and look forward to getting to know your family more too!

Meet Cindy

Cindy Lippincott

I am grateful for the passion that God gave to Medea and Joseph to continue OATH, since I had the privilege of being the co-founder in 2005. For the next eight years, I became actively involved as the director, forming many friendships during that time.

As an adoptive mom of three: one from the United States and two from Haiti, with four biological children, I am blessed that our extended family includes four other children with Caucasian, bi-racial, and Hispanic backgrounds.

Employed as Office Manager by Bible Doctrines to Live By in Grand Rapids, Michigan, I also coach through Greater Joy Life Coaching.

It is a joy to be a part of the OATH ministry by serving on its board.
